We stayed in this room one night as the hotel was full due to the full moon party - the next day I complained to the manager who was unhelpful and patronising. She upgraded us but made me pay 820BHT for the upgrade. The day we were leaving I asked if I could pay extra to keep the room for longer as we were not flying until 8pm - they said we couldnt but they would give us a room to shower in - I thought this was great until it came to the time and we were shown down a back alley to the staff showers which were tiny, grotty and dirty for the two of us to cram into and shower. Not a good experience for the last 3 days of my holiday. Would not recommend this hotel." | Very smooth, quick response. Shopping and restaurants just outside the area. Supermarket/grocery store conveniently placed 20 metres away from the hotel reception. Kind and helpful staff. The hotel area and buildings have been upgraded curing the last year and give a nice impression. This time at Al s we stayed in a Courtyard Suite - spacious with one bedroom and a living room, very suitable for a family with 2 kids. A nice swimming pool just outside the door.
