We had Buri 101 next to the pool and the beach and the Massage Hut, which has a large verandah and which we used as the meeting place every evening at 5.30/6 pm for drinks and a get together before deciding where to go for dinner at a different venue every night.The Chaweng Buri provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the staff were marvelous. We were the ones who researched and suggested the Chaweng Buri to everyone and when we got there, we were pleased to find that our choice was not misplaced. The location was right in the heart of the most convenient spot. Only it can be a bit noisy at night.All the rooms are individual cottages so you can have personal and cosy stay. The bed is nice. They have one double bed and one single bed in the room. Very convenient. The bathroom is clean and nice and bright, I think recently renovated.The pool was great! Just right temperature. Breakfast was ok. All the people were friendly and nice. The hotel is tired and in a state of decay . When things have broken they have been poorly patched up. A lot of money needs to be spent to restore this to what it must have been like when first built. The location, beach and breakfast were however very good. Would not recommend it unless or until it is properly maintained.
