The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom and the best power shower that we had seen during our whole time in Thailand.The Sky train is a 10 minute walk away. Although not important to us, the hospital is right next door. You could not find a better hotel if you are visiting somebody there. The sidewalks are not the best, although typical of Bangkok, so it was a workout and I think if I d realized how rough it would be we might have paid for a taxi. Some would think it a waste because it really wasn t that far and for daily walks to the BTS was just fine. Also, when returning to BTS, the up escalater was a whole block closer than the stairs you have to take down. We got an economy room which was TINY but on the lobby floor, so convenient location, and it had all the same conveniences (flat screen TV, fridge, wifi, nice shower and toilet) that other hotel rooms had. The bed was hard as a board, but unfortunately this seemed to be consistent with all the other hotels as well. Breakfast was a disappointment as I must have missed the continental description and we were about to spend 100 bht on 2 eggs, but the fruit was fresh and good and the toast and jam held us until lunch. The girls at the front desk were excellent, polite and helpful and spoke English fluently. The staff made some adjustments to have him stay on a lower floor, being that this is a walk-up . A newly renovated hotel, the only down side is that there is no elevator.
