She s always there to answer any questions, has family and friends local to the area that I had the pleasure to meet and speaks perfect English as she lived in the US for a while. She seamlessly booked tickets for me to Ang Thong marine park (lots of fun) and travel to Phuket and even transportation to the local post office to mail a package back home. The guest house is on a side street from the main Chaweng road so very convienent to restaurants and the beach (<2 minute walk) but not as noisy or touristy as most other places to stay. From what I saw from walking around Chaweng, unless you want to spend a lot of $$$ for a ocean front room at a cookie cutter resort then Penzy Guest House is the place to book. During our 1 month vaccation we stayed here for 10 nights altogheter. Although we had booked a standard room we got a deluxe room for the same price. The rooms are very nice and superclean, great location. Pency is really friendly and helpful. The owner (Penzy) was very helpful, we arrived before check in time and she let us store our bags, was very helpful with information regarding the area, and also booked us a boat trip at a discounted price and arranged our transport to the full moon party and back.
